Gleeson Group is Ireland’s leading supplier and distributor of beverage products in Ireland. With 11 fully owned distribution hubs, we have full national coverage and can deliver to every shop, restaurant, catering company, distributor, supermarket, public house, forecourt and hotel in Ireland – North and South.

Established by the Gleeson family in the late 1960’s in Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary, Gleeson was a manufacturer of soft drinks and a bottler of a well-known stout brand. The company was acquired by brothers Patrick and Nicholas Cooney in June 1974, who set the company on a course for expansion. In 1976, our first Dublin depot was opened. Indeed, over the years the company gradually expanded – acquiring wholesale companies across Ireland. The largest of these acquisitions was the purchase of United Beverages’ business outside of Dublin in September 2005 (previously owned by Diageo).

Over the years we have manufactured some of Ireland’s best known brands, including Tipperary Water, Finches soft drinks, Crystal Springs and many more.

Today Gleeson has changed from a regional supplier of beverage products into one of Irelands leading and most successful companies. Gleeson now ranks in the top 150 companies in Ireland by annual turnover (across all industries) and in the top 20 private companies in Ireland by annual turnover (again across all industries). Gleeson has remained a fully privately owned family business.

Our Business Divisions:
• Manufactured Brands: We manufacture a range of Ireland’s leading brands, including Water, Soft Drinks, Cider, Cream Liqueurs, Freeze Pops etc.
• Agency Brands: We represent a number of well known brands in our Beer, Wine and Spirits divisions.
• Wholesale Brands: As Ireland’s largest wholesale supplier of packaged beer, we stock all leading brands.
• Own Label: We manufacture own label brands for a number of retailers.
• Bottle Manufacturer: We supply pet bottles to a number of companies.
